Our solution

We created HIGHER PSP - A safe, personal, and flexible Islamic high school that empowers young Muslims to flourish and succeed in the 21st century.

PSP stands for "Private-School Satellite Program".

The main objective is to empower young Muslims to safely aspire, learn, and flourish in a safe, personal, and flexible Islamic high school environment. 

HIGHER PSP enrolls students from 7th to 12th grade.However, we also accept small number of students from 4th to 6th grade into the PreHIGHER program.

The mission is to empower the life success of Muslim communities worldwide by building safe, personal, and flexible schooling solutions that increase knowledge, develop skills, and improve learners' abilities while grounded by Islamic values and at a lower cost of freedom, time, and money.

The vision is to become the world's best learning community that leads its members to the flourishing life they aspired for.

The ALeF framework stands for Aspire, Learn, Flourish, and focuses on personal growth, self-awareness, and the integration of values and beliefs into one's learning and development.

The curriculum is balanced, focusing on modern knowledge and traditional subjects, integrating STEM and humanities, and recognizing both the mind and the body.

HIGHER PSP offers a comprehensive Quran study program, including memorization and understanding the context and meanings, which aligns with the ALeF framework.

The flipped classroom approach involves learners utilizing technology for independent studies and then joining nontraditional classrooms created at Islamic centers for participatory learning activities.

HIGHER PSP offers project-based learning through the Raspberry Pi Computer Science Lab, where students complete 30 computer science projects, fostering hands-on learning and technical skills.

The curriculum incorporates contemporary themes such as sustainability, global literacy, civic literacy, information literacy, digital literacy, systems thinking, and design thinking, ensuring relevance and applicability to modern challenges.

Islamic rituals are integrated through daily Quran study, memorization sessions, and activities that respect and promote Muslim identity, ensuring that spiritual development is a core part of the educational experience. Additionally, since the classrooms are at Islamic centers, student can pray Fajr and Dhuhr at the mosque.

HIGHER PSP's strategy is to be an Aspirations-Driven learning platform that solves pressing learner problems and delivers an excellent experience by continuously innovating with emerging ideas and sciences.

Quality assurance includes class/course-level accreditation, college-level courses, and the ability to transfer up to 110 credits to regionally accredited colleges.

The annual tuition fee is $9,600, with an annual enrollment fee of $1,500. Optional costs include the flipped classroom at $2,400/year, Study.com at $2,400/year, and UC Scout at $4,000/year.

Payment plans include a 12-month plan at $800/month, a 96-120-month extended plan at $400/month, and a 5-payment plan with a 15% discount.
